ASSA ABLOY Showcases Decorative Door Opening Solutions, Specification Support, Sustainability and BIM at AIA 2013

Inspiration, information and specifications await visitors to the ASSA ABLOY booth (#1503) at the 2013 AIA Convention June 20-22, in Denver, Colorado.

The ASSA ABLOY exhibition space presents design professionals with distinctive, decorative door and hardware solutions, access to a new Building Information Modeling (BIM) tool, complimentary on-site specification support, and solutions for sustainable, education, healthcare and multi-family housing facilities.

The ASSA ABLOY Decorative Openings Mobile Showroom will anchor the booth, enabling convention attendees to step into the world of Good Design and view commercial-grade door openings solutions in a new light. The Decorative Openings Showroom highlights ASSA ABLOY's collection of aesthetic doors and hardware that come together to create exciting design possibilities. Showroom tours will be conducted every 20 minutes.

ASSA ABLOY’s credentialed Door Opening Consultants will be on site to provide complimentary assistance with visitors’ Division 8 and Division 28 specifications. In addition, demonstrations of ASSA ABLOY’s new BIM tool—Openings Studio—will take place within the booth, enabling design professionals to bring door openings into their BIM universe.

Sustainable and Energy Efficient door opening solutions will also be front and center with a display of high performance openings, including Power over Ethernet access control devices from ASSA ABLOY Group brands. The latest door opening solutions for healthcare, education, hospitality and multifamily housing applications will also be on display.
