ASSA ABLOY Presents New Design Tools and Innovations in Security, Safety, Sustainability and Aesthetics at AIA 2014 Convention

Add new tools to your design repertoire and unlock the full potential of doors and hardware by visiting the ASSA ABLOY showcase (booth# 4431) at the 2014 AIA Convention June 26-28, in Chicago.

The ASSA ABLOY exhibition space features the launch of a new online tool that gives users the ability to customize wood door design as well as a hardware product selector that pairs decorative levers with coordinating accessory hardware in a selection of available finishes. ASSA ABLOY’s Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, on-site specification support and product solutions that address sustainability and school security are also included in the booth.

The ASSA ABLOY Education Solutions Showroom will anchor the booth, enabling convention attendees to step inside for a tour and view the latest school safety and security solutions geared specifically to address the challenges of today’s education environment.

ASSA ABLOY’s credentialed Door Opening Consultants will be on site to provide complimentary assistance with visitors’ Division 8 and Division 28 specifications. In addition, demonstrations of ASSA ABLOY’s new BIM tool—Openings Studio—will take place within the booth, enabling design professionals to bring door openings into their BIM universe.

Sustainable and Energy Efficient door opening solutions will also be front and center with a display of high performance openings, including Power over Ethernet access control devices from ASSA ABLOY Group brands.
